Before March, we would go to restaurants to sit down and eat, but now we call ahead to order, we place orders online, and we get take out. Online shopping increased, and more businesses realized that choosing to keep their products offline limited their adaptability to the increased demand for shopping online.

“Businesses that thought they didn't need a website all of a sudden realized ‘Oh my, we're really behind the curve!’ That change in mindset was the biggest thing in 2020.” Tom Sliker said. “We watched this slow and steady adoption to the internet and e-commerce over the years, and all of a sudden, it just got a big boost in the arm.”

Thank you, Google for Supporting Our Small & Medium-Sized Businesses

In an effort to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) stay in touch with their customers, Google has given $340 million in ad credits worldwide to these SMBs. Broadstreet clients who have spent with a Google Ads account in ten out of twelve months of 2019, and in January and/or February of 2020 were eligible for this credit, and recieved a total of $3,500. All SMBs had to be shown to be adhering to Google's advertising policies - any accounts in voilation would not recieve an ad credit. This is part of a larger commitment from Google to support SMBs, health organizations and governments, and health workers on the frontline of this global pandemic.

Expanding Your Audience With Similar Audiences Can Increase Your Conversion Rate & ROI

Sometimes the hardest part of something is just getting started. If you haven' started using similar audiences in your AdWords campaigns yet, it's time to get going.

Similar Audiences enables you to find new audiences who share characteristics with your Remarketing lists (specific groups of people who have visited your website). Google creates these lists after your remarketing lists have gathered enough data. You need to have Remarketing lists set up and running in order to get Similar Audiences.

How Do Similar Audiences Work?
